Another view up at 2nd floor deck and joists…. All Second floor joists were cut out of one old-growth log, most are vertical grain clear timbers. 2nd floor joists and 30′ plus 4 X 10 roof rafters were all cut for me by my neighbor Tommy.

2nd floor is all joisted out now and decked off with Tongue and Groove pine… Had to get it done and decked with the 2 x 8 T&G Pine so the kiln dried pine didn’t sit around and warp or discolor.
