Cabin looks small in pics so here's a scale shot for ya, thats me standing on the roof

Our “Log Home” looks more like a smaller cabin in most pics… so here’s a scale view for you with me standing on the roof of the cabin. (I’m 6′3″ and weighing 230 in this pic)

Cabin as of 12-04-04 Roof is finally getting covered. First with 2 X 8 Select Tongue and Groove Pine then with a layer of 1/2 inch OSB Plywood for sheer

With rafters all in place and bolted to both top log and ridgepole blocked in between the roof was ready to be decked. Roof was decked first using 2 X 8 T&G Pine from Montana and nailed to avery rafter using 20 penny Galvonized nails. After 2 x 8 decking was in place roof was then covered over with 1/2″ OSB Plywood for wind sheer.

Wrap around porch suport logs are also in place now.
